@rajat
Classes may help for people who donot have Financial workex-background,as they are completly unaware of style of exam,its contents n approach to attempt it..that way i guess it sometimes becomes important to stay in that run..but everything boils down to our own understanding and preps..
Rajat it would be a great idea if u could mention the prospects of getting job if one clear each of the following or with combinations-if u could give an insight to it..as lke im from engineering background apart from these papers i hardly know where i can work/wat role i like to work on..so i feel soemtimes handicapped that where i am heading at..Therefore i request if u could tell me/us how :

2)..CFA L1+L2------>??

As some one who passed the exam last year a piece of advise...
Indians generally take education very seriously but this is taking it a bit far.
From what I saw in the exam last year most of the questions were set by industry participants and tested your functional knowledge .
I had prepared for about a month yet could attempt most of the questions.
Even this year GARP have e mailed the people who had passed the exam in previous years and are working in the industry and asked for questions based on actual experiences.
From what I saw last year a bulk of the questions are set this way and the rest are pretty straight forward for which you do not need class room coaching .
I know quite a few people who spent upwards of 400 hours on preparation and yet failed as they were unable to attempt the questions that were not theoretical but based on market experience.
Anyways the FRM in any case is not that big a deal for you to spend months on it,it is just a designation to be acquired alongside work .Don't make it the central point of your life for the next 5-6 months .
Just my 2 cents...
