I'm in complete confusion. My counseling for PG course in management was recently over and I opted for PG in Retail Management. Since I opted for Retail course from FDDI (Footwear Design and Technology Management Institute) NOIDA, I am now regretting that I would have rather opted for Footwear course because the institute is more famous for footwear courses available there.
The other thing that makes me feel disappointed is that there is option available to join retail industry after completing PG course in Footwear management but those who have completed PG in Retail management cannot join Footwear industry/sector. Moreover, a PG course in Footwear management will train an individual about technical aspects of the industry.
Please help me in clearing my doubts as I'm in complete trauma due to this utter confusion. I don't want to regret it after completing the course; but, would like to solve this issue right here.
Thanks for the help in advance. :bigear:

The end decision however restsz on u. But people from footwear industry join retail as merchandisers for footwear products. Whereas being in Retail MAnagement you can not only work in operations, category, marketing, merchandising, etc. and also u can if u wish to join footwear retailers such as adidas, nike, etc.
I believe u need to decide what is the vertical or function you would like to work in, rather than deciding on the basis of what course is famous from an institute
