havent u hear about it??? "where there is will, there is way"... its never over till the fat lady sings...keep working... i guess the right way to go about would be to do a full time course in a university that accepts students who've done their UG thro correspondence... then settle down n think about an MBA or something else that u want out of ur life.... there's plenty of time in life... use it wisely...

CA, CS, ICWA, CFA, CIMA, japan CMA and host of other professional exams are through correspondence.

You need to introspect yourself thoroughly. You need to answer these questions to yourself:

1) How are you academic wise? 10th and 12th marks.

2) What exactly made you to go for correspondence? Some unavoidable circumstance or you scored poorly in 12th

3) What all business schools are you targetting? Top 10, Top 15 ?

4) Beyond MBA. Courses like CA, ICWA, CFA and even CS are classic economical courses. Why not these courses? Why only MBA?

In India, MBA is a joke with 900 + business schools wooing students. Do you want to do MBA because of a chain reaction ?

Spend some time with yourself. Time runs. After all earth is running so fast completing one full rotation every 24 hours. Today you are 20. It is a matter of time you will be 25. I know you dont want to struggle for career at the age of 25.

I know my friend who got into IIFT and he did correspondence B.com from delhi university. So you can get into good business school. Relax.

But bottomline, think and act.

Keep us updated about your career progress.

Cheers,

Akhil

agree with akhil, do some soul searching. another way to look at is go for a job... entry level BPO etc. you get a job in BPO as long as u have gud commncn skills. keep working and do a further correspondnce MBA alongwith. or after few yrs of workex go for full time MBA. then you will have something in your resume to show for to intrv panel. technically none of the schools say no to correspondence courses as they are perfectly legal but selection is biased towards FT. if you are looking for immediate MBA try tier-II/III schools.

For MBA, you can consider ICFAI University, Symbiosis, IGNOU etc but let me remind you that Symbiosis does not gives MBA degree, rather it gives you a PGDBA.

I am suggesting you to choose ICFAI University because:

* ICFAI gives MBA degree not PGDBA

* It's teaching methodology is case study based same as that of Harvard Business School and IIMs.

* It is associated with many internatinal bodies like ECCH(European Case Clearing House), CIIA(Certified International Investment Analyst) and many more.

* It has seperate research department to keep itself abreast of corporate world.

* It has its own book publishing department to update course content quickly.

* It not only takes care of your Managerial aspects but also develops your personality by teaching you Business etiquettes, Communication skills, Business Letter writing etc.

* It sends you monthly Managerial Magazine to update you with current Business world.

* It has 130+ examination centers.

* It gives specialization in 9 subjects.

* It guarentees job of Minimum 21,000/ per month.

I am myself final year student of ICFAI MBA, so I can help you by sending you free prospectus and other ins and outs of this program.

With best regards
