hey dude its better to go for a b school in UK instead of wasting time here in second rung Bschool... as u ll get that much exposure bcouse all the classmate of u in those b schools will be having that kind of experience which u got... which is not possible in india..
and ya
at the end of the day its depend on ur pocket .. that how much u can spend on it s in UK it will cost some where around 30k
so.... it will be only ur decision..

dood my english is not so good .. so apology for sentence formation errors****

My two piece of advice, try for a 1-year course here, say XLRI-GMP, IIMA-PGPX, ISB, etc....
Avoid going to UK or elsewhere at this point of time, even if the opportunity looks attractive, try to consider ROI.
Now, there's a global downturn, UK courses can be prohibitively expensive, & you can not be sure of comensurate placement after course completion, try and ask any friends/relatives, if you have any in UK about placement opportunities there, before taking the UK plunge.
Secondly, even if you complete the course and come back to India, you may get a start at a lower salary, as I said there's a downturn, & many companies here are putting a freeze on hiring/bonuses/remuneration to current staff, to the extreme of giving the pink slip to so called non-performers, TCS & Infy have laid of substancial numbers, acc. to this week's newspapers, for example.
If you feel that's a gloomy pic., I'm presenting, that is the fact.
Business here is going the whole hog to retain talent, which is really scarce in India, you come across 1000's of poorly trained B-school grads, with just a few talented guys.
Don't go by gut instincts alone, do some research, & err.. leave the rest in God's hands. Ta

[quote=Euclide;1227809]Hi Guys,
I am having 9+ years of experience and planing to do a 1 year MBA from US/UK.
Although I am earning good currently and working as a Manager in India as of now, I am looking MBA as an carrer advancement option.
Could you please advice me where I can get the following information:
1. The approximate cost of these programs
2. The placement options and how much one can earn approximately
3. Chances of getting scholerships and how much?
4. Options to earn while doing an MBA
5. The Visa issues after an MBA
6. Also help me in getting the list of best colleges

Any comments are welcome.

Try the British Council library in your city (If there is one). They will give you all info. about UK colleges, visa process ,etc.
