Hi!
I will be heading to US in august for MS in finance. So thought of trying for CFA level 1.
Ppl from bangalore..... do you know any coaching center for CFA. Since i am from IT background and don't have finance knowledge, want to take some coaching.
also am I too late to start prep for CFA level 1?

a question to all the people who have registered online. what have you given as your national identification id. and i guess the people who are registering for the 1st time dont have any CFA institute id right.

U Can give your PAN Number as National Identification ID.

There is no need for such things ,this is not a required field also mostly it is there for US citizens to fill i n their social security number.You can leave it blank

the instructions say specifically for a national id no. I dont have a PAN no.
what are the essential things required for registration, except for a credit card.

will this suffice or you have to refer to some other books and cfa material as well ??

i have a frnd who is planning to do CFA and he's from delhi. i had a talk with him and he's interested in sharing the notes.
he's planning to give Dec'07 level..Do u think the books that u hv will be of any use to him for Dec level..
please mail him at kshitijain@rediffmail.com asap because he's really confused as to how to go bout the course..
