Congrates!!!

Yes. Many do it. Some of ur MBA finance portion will also be same with CFA

if yes then when can i start my preparations?
For dec 2009 Exam, enroll and start ASAP. For June 2010, early start will help.

and also wat is the cost involved with CFA?
Its bit costly(depends), more info u will get in Fee Schedule

hi all,
need some advice from you puys who are pursuing their CFA!
i am an electrical engineer who's been in the IT industry(across various verticals) for almost 4+ years now! IT no longer interests me...i am looking to a career shift in finance...have plans of MBA in mind from a premier bschool! now, if i am unable to make it to a premier institute i will not go in for an MBA...in that case will a CFA help me to shift over to the finance domain? what are the prospects after i finish my L1? will that give me enuf leverage to shift over to finance? looking forward to hearing from you, puys!!

thanks

Hey there all...i cleared my TYbcom this year..i am planning to do CFA...i have some questions regarding CFA..
Is CFA a degree or a certification? Is there a difference? Does it matter?
Will CFA alone help me fetch a good job in india?
