Hats off for your research...

Second i am planning to give L1 exam in Dec....

Re: Need some Opinions on CFA. - 28-04-2006, 12:12 PM

I'm back..and I FINALLY managed to get hold of the calculator! I am now a proud owner of the TI BA II PLUS financial calculator...thanks to some sustained efforts and determined prodding by "cfa.aspirant" here. Dude, i`m so lazy that if you had not kept reminding me about it and literally had it delivered to my home, i would have ended up without a calci on the day of the exam...THANKS to you, i finally have a calci! It looks so pretty and sleek in it`s plastic casing, i dont feel like opening it I managed to get it for 2200 Rs, thanks again to the superior negotiation skills of "cfa.aspirant" here!

That brings me to another point. When i started this thread, i was just looking for someone to give me some pointers about the suitability of this course and whether i should go ahead with it or not..and hence the name "need some opinions on cfa". Since then, I've met up with so many ppl and got so much study matieral, tips, calci, etc. Im glad it has grown to become such a strong network of people helping each other out, nice no?

My friend works at a webhosting Co. he said he can get a domain registration almost for free. this weekend, i was going thru a php forum he has recently created. it`s free and quite simple too...and it struck me...hey, we could have a full fledged forum/website for us cfa guys too. Just a random thought...what say? Sounds good or is all this stressful studying getting into my head and making me talk crazy? lemme know if you`ll be interested in joining if i did something like that.

Approvals and celebrations will rarely surround your inner decisions and choices to follow Personal Truth. You will be challenged and taunted: “Who do you think you are, anyways?” And, indeed, through your choices and decisions, that is precisely the question you are answering–to yourself.
