My project was on MEMS (micro electro mecanical systems )

Study of Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) as a technology that is shrinking the size of heavy systems converting electro-mechanical systems into micro-structures. The study included manufacture of MEMS systems, simulation tools, fabrication methods and the future of MEMS as a technology.


we worked on a software called "sugar" developed berkeli university its still in testing period u can get the beta version on net free of cost...

basically it was a research project got 147/150.... but really we were not satisfied with our work were hoping that we will b able to do something more constructive which will really help the mems community... but it did not hppened... u can try ur luck on it..... ppl r shifting fron nano to mems so after 5 yrs it will rock the world

my post is not gonna add any value to this thread, but i cant help recalling my final year project 1.5 years back.

i pooled up with a bunch of seriously smart guys in my class and we (i mean THEY) developed some robotic path tracking algorithm that finds the shortest path from one point to another avoiding all obstacles. it was something to do with a funda called "ant algorithms" wherein once a path is travelled, an adoptive approach is used to refine on that path etc etc. the entire interface was programmed in java. thereafter, this program was actually tested by programming a microchip controlled robot and making it move on a floor with stuff strewn across the floor.

now that`s all i know about my project. i was actually clueless about what my project was all about coz the smart guys wrote the code and did everything, i just patched up the whole thing from the net and played with the robot!
