Hi Queeny,
Consulting is an interesting field. It is a field for interesting people, you are expected to work hard, work very very hard. Ever since I joined this industry a couple of years back with leading consulting firm, I have always enjoyed each and every day of my work.
I wish you best of luck in this journey.
Kind regards,
Thomas | | | | | | | |

Hi Thomas,
Thankyou for the valuable feedback and advice. Aprreciate it.
Sounds really interestin and challenging. I think this is something that i am looking for in my career.
I am definitely gonna try to get into Technopak as I have realised that a consulting career in Retail is what I am looking for.
Also, would anyone have an idea about firms other than Technopak which specialize in Retail consultancy, who I could potentially target ?
Thankyou.
Regards

This is a nice thread.....
I worked as a Business Analyst for a top UK Investment bank in the Credit Lending and Syndicated Loans division ( the place to be in these markets )
I quit last week to go for the MiF program in LBS .... hoping to go to a consulting company after that.... lets see how things work out See, you are what you are in this world. That's either one of two things: Either you're somebody, or you ain't nobody | | | | | | | |

Hey,
Out of curiosity, I just wanted to ask all the guys with consulting exp. whether the shared service & outsourcing advisory would fall into the "strategy consulting" arena.
Do the strategy biggies (McK, BCG, Bain, ATK, etc.) have this vertical in their offering?
Thanks,
