Hi,

I am a .NET professional having 3+ exp. Recently i have got two offer
from Wipro and TCS. I would like to know which offer will be better
for my career growth.

Wipro domain: Telecom (C# and Biztalk)
TSC domain: Finance/Banking (ASP.NET,C#)

Can anybody give me the suggestion?. Please

Hi Ragav,
You need to decide on few facts regarding the above mentioned companies. In TCS, you have a lot of onsite opportuinity as compared to Wipro, but at the cost of offshore salary. So if your long term plans are to look for a company which trains you in India for 6 months and then keeps sending you to onsite, then TCS is the perfect amtch for you.
The only drawback in TCS is the quality of the work. You might not get to work on some hot new technology but on some Mainframe type of work (but if you are lucky you might get good work too, but chances are very bleak).
Regarding Wipro, its a very good and has a good competetive environment. You might get to work on latest technolgoies. Here too the chances for onsite are good, but not as good as compared to TCS. the experince you get in Wipro is considered to be the best in the industry. You could easily secure job in any other company if you have worked for Wipro.

But I guess you should go for TCS, since it has good sonite oppo., a good company with good reputation and you would be put in finance domain which is the most preferred domain.

Finally, its your decision, I have provided some facts which might be useful. Think over those and ask few of your friends who have industry experience.

Hi,

Still not able to decide....(Either wipro or TCS). I request TCS or Wipro guys to help me by posting their experince in their jobs and also the pros and cons of one over the other.

Incase of Telecom domin (in wipro). What kind of job profile i would be offered? the skill set and the domain info.

Plase help me !!
