Finance, Marketing jobs before MBA - 18-08-2005, 10:40 PM

Hi all,

I have done my B. E Electronics from b'bay. I am looking forward to do a MBA. But I am keen on getting some job experience before that.

I w'd like s'thing in the finance or marketing industry with a sight inclination towards finance (related to equities).

Can u guys plz let me know what kind of positions and jobs can i look forward to, in both these sectors. Also these s'd give me a good exposure to the practices in the industry.

Thanks.

Hi - 20-08-2005, 12:48 PM

Hi Acegunner,

You reminds me of my final year days!

I was in the same dilemma as to which job to pick after my engg (mech).

You may search for a profile which utilses your tecnical knowledge in a marketing field.

confused!!! Let me explain....

Most of the manufacturing companies have marketing and sales offices (or corporate offices) where all the strategies and plans abt how to sell or market a product is made. You may opt for a profile in such a field.

Search...use all your contacts and you may find a job which will satisfy your requirement.
All the best for all your future endeavors....
