well to start with wat were the cutoffs for finance specialisation.....

i have heard in spjain dubai , freshers dont get good salary packages plz throw some light on placement statistics for freshers and also do v get job offers for india ....

also some more queries....

is there any fees for applyin online ??
if yes how much and where to pay
if not then when do v have to pay fees ???
and also PPL AND SENIORS PLZ TELL FRANKLY HOW R THE PLACEMENTS AND THE INDUSTRY INSTITUTE RECOGNITION RIGHT NOW
AS FEES IS HIGH IT MAKES ME THINK TWICE ......????????

Hi All,
Kindly throw some light on the separate aptitude test conducted for SP Jain Singapore and Dubai.
Are these B-Schools really worth joining.
Do they command the same repo as of SP Jain, Mumbai.

Please clarify.

Just completed the online appln...and after all the effort...just a simple one-liner Thank you message...dont we get any appln no. or something? will they separately mail it to us ?
And Puys, why is everyone so obsessed with the spjain aptitude test...it isnt compulsary, rt? just another option...if u hv decent scores in gmat/cat/xat., do apply thru 'em !!!
i mentioned both - gmat(680) & cat(95.5)

since u have applied for spjaindubai i jus wanted to know some info about spjain dubai (if u cud help)

1)about the placements of freshers from finance specialisation
2)cutoffs for freshers in cat and xat
3)does the institute has the same status as spjain mumbai does???
4) is there any application fees i mean online application form fees???????
5)finally is it really a worth career option seeing its large annual fees ??

i jus asked u coz i thot u might be knowin (hope so ) and plz share if u have any friends or seniors experiences at spjain dubai .......

HEY Step in time theres indeed no reason for guys to be obessed with the sp jain aptiitude provided they hav faired well in either cat or gmat or have appeared for the same,
its quite understood that the ones who do not fall into either of the category are the ones who are having certain apprehensions with regard to sp jain aptitide test!

The Dec intake batch has covered some of these issues....from what i gathered, this test has 4 sections(somewhat along the lines of gmat)...Quants/GK/RC/Critical Reasoning.....while some hv termed it quite simple as compared to CAT, others did find CR & GK of a tougher level.....do browse thru this, puys !!!!

@ cooldude, think ur first 3 queries will be best covered by the spjain batch seniors (come to think of it, do they know abt this thread here ??) i'll PM them abt this!!

And No, there's no online fees at the time of application....u only pay once u get shortlisted for the next round of evaluation !!!
Personally, i really think u can benefit the max. if u come with prior relevant work-ex for a one-yr course....u'll then be absorbed at a senior level post-mba and consequently, at a higher package as compared to a fresher ! Guess, thats the real benefit of the super-specialisations here!
Hence, a work-ex chap shud find it easier to pay-off the initial high investment cost (not that high if u compare it other one-yr mba courses....certainly, higher than a conventional 2-yr mba though)

All these questions about placements, salaries, course, recognition already has been covered in the December intake thread. Kindly browse thru it. I will be ready to answer other questions other than these FAQs type of questions, also read the entire official blog, it is a good resource.
