Dear Rutty,

A Gentle reminder of my previous post.

I had applied for the june intake, 2007 in the month of December. I also appeared for the 28th, Jan aptitude test but could not meet the criteria so i am planning to retake the test on 25th Feb. However my application status is found to be as follows:

"Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (June intake) program and going through our evaluation process.

Your Evaluation Status will be updated shortly. Pl check this website at regular intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status. "

I have not appeared for any evaluation. Can you kindly clarify about the same.

Dear Anirudha,
you have been waitlisted as you have not score or also as you may not be meeting some of the otehr criteria and we will not process applications or shortlist candidates who do not have scores.

I have spoken to the concerned dept..its seems you are a UAE applicant, hence we do not have your status here in India.
you will need to get in touch with our office in Dubai regarding the same.
you may email them on admissions@spjain.org

Hi Rutty,

Thanks for the info. But only my permanent address states that i am from UAE. But I live in bangalore , INDIA and would be attending apti and evaluations in INDIA only. Can u plz let me know, if there is any difference with respect to admission procedures in INDIA / UAE. Wil be grateful if u clarify the same.
Also when we spoke to the UAE office regarding the application status, they told us to contact the mumbai admission office.

We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at regular intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status. "

Hi Rutty,

The above status message is being displayed for about more than 3 weeks now.
Can you please let me know till me know the process of application being reviewed and moved to the reject or interview call status.
In my case i think it is my past academics which could be the possible reason for the waitlist.How optimistic can i be regarding me being called for the interview and atmost by when(I have applied for the banking operations management and have 2+ years of work ex in a s/w company working for an Asia Pacific banking gaint).
