Well this is becoz, the inherent capacities of men n women are different and we need the symphony of both to build a successful organsiation. However the haste with which companies are tryin to bridge the gap is only complicating the issue. Hope we have a free system without any room for reservations. Having said that i blv one needs to understand n celebrate the differences b/w men n women. This helps create a vibrant atmosphere.
just to add most coys have only some reservation fr girls, there are a few companies that visit our campus n say that girls are not eligible - |
well said buddy!!
I agree that having a good gender ratio does help in ways that may not be very obvious, but what actually led to this situtation of male dominance in corporates and oder areas was not lack of merit on women's part but their oppression on a social level and they not being allowed to show wat they hav got...
and u r spot on wen u say that companies are actually hurryign up more than required to fill that gap....i guess what is required is that more social awareness, education opportunities be given to women and such hindrances removed from their path,,,then we will see that over a course of time, there will be no gender gap as equal number of talented, educated and ambitious women will naturally be at the positions were they deserve to be
I guess that is the way ahead and we so called intellectual capital of the society have a responsibility in preventing people from getting swayed into reservation propaganda of politicians
