GIM has a new Director.

Here is his Profile. (Outgoing Director, Mr F X D'Lima has retired but will continue to serve as a consultant to GIM.)


Dr. Ranjan Ghosh
B. Tech. (IIT Kharagpur), M.S. (Stanford University), M.S., D.Sc. (Columbia University).
Also Teaches At:
IIM-C, IIM-B, IIM-I, IIT-Kgp, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, XIM Bhubaneswar, Columbia Univ (USA) and Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand).

He has also been chairman/member of several expert committees set up by the Government of India as also the State Government of West Bengal. At the IIM Calcutta, Dr. Ghosh had held various administrative positions such as Director-In-Charge, Chairman - Operations Management Area, Chairman - Post Graduate Programme, Chairman - Management Development Programme, Chairman - Internal Personnel Committee, Chairman - Computer Centre, Vice-Chairman - Academic Council, and Member of the IIM-C Board of Governors. Dr. Ghosh is also on the Governing Body of several Management Institutes. He has been a member of the Board of Studies of several professional societies and academic institutes
