IIM student bodies issue joint statement against reservations

Student bodies of all the six Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on Wednesday released a joint statement opposing the move to implement 27 pc reservations for OBCs in government higher education institutions.

Great!! , this was very much required. I hope they are able to gather as much support as Medicos. Together MBA Institutes, medicos, engineering instis, DU and other central govt institutes should protest against reservations.

Tell them to keep all the 100% seats in all govt inst. for the SC/ ST and OBC No seats in general category and see how they survive.

Simple and Sound. When will government think like this. The Government is running away from the things it is not able to do, like removing Quotas and Ensuring good root level education, one of the reason is Vote Bank for sure. Politicians are just playing with the people of India, they put forward their mess, and dont even think the consequences of it.

Finally, even IIMs have made there statement against the reservation.Hopefully now the govt will stop fooling around & let the common sense prevail!!
