can any alumni give us some gyan if MS abroad is better or MBA in India???

hello,

am mridula a food technologist(fresher) from DU...am immensely interested in my feild and have cjosen to do MBA-agri business management...and have been luckily selected at SIIB,pune as well...
now the thing is..that I have applied to equivalent MS corses in UK as well... in top-ranked universities....and am expecting a positive reply...
but the problem is that with every scholarship available there there is a stipulated condition that one has to return back to india as soon as the course gets over...
i want to ask that does anybody has any idea if this condition can be bypassed for minimum of one year...so that i can avail 1 year visa extension , work and then come back to India??

also what difference will that make to my career in pursuing MBA or in pursuing MS in management abroad???

please help...

I too would need advise on the same.. as to what extent MS in management subjects is comparable to an MBA in India.. and what are the specializations on offer in this case and what are the options there on

MS is speacialized course with narrow focus. MBA is more generic. MS-fin from top US schools are better than MBA-fin from Indian schools.

It depends on your career goals, resources, qualifications etc what you want to pursue.
