I am Electronics engg and currently working in one of the leading IT industry of world . My tenure is around 2 years. I wish to take System as specialization for my MBA.But I have interest in finance too.So is there any feasibility to persue both and get some job after MBA which includes knowledge of both?? i mean for any system analyst role does finance knowledge comes into play/?

What are the profiles offered by IT consulting cos? Accenture business consulting for eg? Is it a consulting kind of role?

do systems ppl get into consulting?(Mckinsey and the likes)???

also, what is the kind of exp consulting cos(Mck again) prefer???

My Company has two groups performing the Marketing Role. One operates at the Corporate level - which is responsible for Analyst relations, Event Participation, organizing Webinars etc. (basically brand building) and the second group operates at a Vertical (or Industry Practice level) - which is responsible for strengthening the domain for the company, articulating the service offerings while keeping track of Industry best practices & trends, forming alliances & partnerthips, responding to RFPs - I belong to the latter group. Let me know if you want to know anything specific.

I have a dual specialisation in IT & Marketing. And now i am working in Redington India ltd (IT Hardware & software distribution) in a out and out sales role. I see a trend in my company that people generally move to Vendor Company like HP or Lenovo or Microsoft after spending some years in Redington. That too in Sales role only.
What is my chances in getting into Marketing of IT services Company? esp at the Vertical level.

I am doing my MBA from BVIMSR college (MMS actually as it is affliated with Mumbai Univ).

I am a BE in IT and no work-ex.

I was intrested in doing Systems, but now confused in systems and finance.

If anyone has done an MBA in systems or finance with BE as background from Mumbai univ, can please shed some light as to what r the future prospects and other details.
