It takes 4-6 days to conduct gd/pi of all the cadidates. So within these days you can get ur slot rescheduled but not beyond that. So keep ur fingures crossed. Let the schedules of both your exams and gd/pi come out and then let's c what we can do.

My exam schedule out... The exams are on the following dates in Feb...
11,12,13,14,15,16,18,22,23,26 and 27...

Keeping the fingers crossed.. Hope that the GD/PI dates don't clash...

No. GD is not an elemination round.
So combined score is taken.

Have any companies reached NIA after the placement week for recruitment?

You can see the complete list of IT firms who have visited our campus in past years on our website or admission booklet.
However, due to the rupee appreciation many IT firms went into cost cutting and hence they didn't hire much this year. Engineers must also have experienced the same in their final placements this time.
So only Cognizant visited our campus. They offered 6.5 for the profile of Business Analyst.
This time all the students were placed on the day zero (which has happened for the first time here at NIASOM) so we could not accomodate those few companies who were in pipeline to visit our campus on day 1.

Plus another angle to this discussion is that ... "How many students are interested in joining IT firms?" ... and this keeps changing everyyear.
Now in our batch (First Year), soooooooo many people are interested in joining IT firms, so next year we will be inviting more IT firms on campus.
