Dear Anupama,
1. Merely achieving a high test score does not necessarily mean that you would get shortlisted. we would look at your entire profile incl ur test score and then decide whether to shortlist you or not.
2. you can ask someone from India to prepare a DD as per the instructions that would be updated on our website and send it to the designated address.
3.once we have a score form you, we will collate the data with your application and then the admissions committee will take a decision regarding shortlisting you.
4. they need to email as well as courier the same to us.

HI,
Our fees are US$ 27300 which is approx INR 11 lakhs as rightly mentioned by you.
this includes tuition, accommodation,books,medical insurance,visa costs etc but does NOT incl food and personal costs, laptop costs and airfare.
A laptop is mandatory for all students
so food and personal costs are estimated to be around 600 dirhams p.m in Dubai and S$ 450 p.m in Singapore which is around INR 1 lakh and laptop and airfare would be another 1 lakh INR.
so your total additional exp apart from the fees would be around INR 2 lakhs
This is a standard estimate assuming that students are leading a normal and comfortable lifestyle.
Naturally for those who live lavishly the costs would be higher.

Dear Rutty Madam,

I have just completed my engineering from the Mumbai University.

I am interested in applying to SP Jain 2008.

I have a few queries which I put forward.

1) Does SP Jain provide any scholarships? If yes, what is the criteria?

2) Is the Dubai-Singapore course accredited by any university? What will be the final degree I receive? Or is it a diploma course?

HI,
1) Yes we do offer scholarships to some meritorious candidates. The decision lies with the Scholarship Committee and only outstanding students would be considered for the same.
2) We are an autonomous institute and not a university hence we cannot award degrees.

Hi rutty.
Thanks for the regular updates.
I have a query.. I have heard that there are few guys(though very less) in every year batch who are left unplaced ..may b due to there rejection in companies or some other reasons(like they opted out of the selection process of the lesser paying organizaions).
r these simply rumours or there are a few like that in every batch.
and how far does spjain help them to get placed once there course is over...

I would like to know weather CAT 2005 scores would be valid for Dec 2007 or Jun 2008 intake. I hav 92 percentile CAT score, decent Acads n quite good in curicullar activities.
I'm havn 1.5 yrs wrk ex in a gud IT comp. Wat r my chances ?

Moreover , i would like to know weather most of the faculty in SPJ Dubai or Singapore is Indian or recruited globally ? Is there any major diff in teaching methodologies bw SPJ Dubai/Singapore or SPJ Mumbai apart from the former being a 1 year course ?

Are there freshers also who apply to Sp jain? What is the career scope for such students?

I have a few queries regarding spjain dubai singapore admissions,i am currently working as a technical consultant in an MNC.I am interested in pursuing an admission with spjain.
A few queries I have in regard to this is.
1) I am planning to take the GMAT somewhere in september.
but while filling in the form now,do i have to tick the option of taking the SP jain
aptitude test because I havent yet taken my GMAT ??
2) I have done my engineering from teh Mumbai University with an aggregate of 56% or
so and have a work experience of 17 months.Do you think I can apply for the GMBA
program???
