Hello all Dec 07-08 SP Jain aspirants - pls note that all posts on SP Jain Dubai and Singapore - Admission Queries are in relation to the June 07-08 intake.
there are certain changes for the Dec 07 intake which we will be updating shortly so pls do not get confused esp in regards to the reference forms.

The guidelines in relation to the ref forms for the Dec 07-087 intake are as follows:

ALL APPLICANTS HAVE TO SUBMIT THEIR REFERENCE FORMS WITHIN 15- 20 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SUBMISSION OF THEIR APPLICATION.

THE REFEREES SHOULD EITHER BE ACADEMIC OR PROFESSIONAL
1) Academic - your school or college professors ONLY - tuition teachers/coaching class lecturers are not acceptable
2) Professional - your seniors/bosses/associates at work or from your previous place of work - juniors at work are not acceptable.

PLS NOTE - REFERENCES FROM FRIENDS/RELATIVES/FAMILY FRIENDS/PARENTS/SIBLINGS/FAMILY MEMBERS etc WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Hi Rutty,
I am facing some problem with the refrence forms because as of now I am working on a clients location.Due to this I am not near to my college neither my company.
Please advise me on this.Also lot of people here should be facing the same issue.

Will our shortlisting be affected by not submitting the refrence forms?
Also it was mentioned in the mail that the refrence forms will be used for evaluation purpose. I thought we were undergoing a short listing process as of now and not an evaluation process. Please correct me if I am not reading it right.

Can I mail them before my evaluation or will I not get my evalution dates if I dont mail them.I can make sure to mail them before I appear for my evalusation.

Also I will try to submit the forms as soon as possible.

Hi Rutty,
My Application Number is: 16029-IT.
I applied on 5th of June. But due to unavailability in town, i was able to post ref. letter on 26th June. Hope i will be considered for the evaluation process.

yes we would need them for the evaluations and currently we are only screening applications but that does not mean that you send them during the evaluations.
pls try and send them as soon as possible.

Hi Rutty,
I have applied for Dec 07 Intake for GLM. I have 3.9 years of experience in HR. I din't have a test score which means that I have to appear for Spjain aptitude test. I am out of India right now. My queries are:
1. I have applied for totally varied field from my experience, what are my chances of making it if I get a good score in test?
2. How to send money for aptitude test once you declare the date as I am not in India at the moment?
3. What do I do after I have a score as I have already applied?
4. What do I do about reference forms? Can I ask the refrees to mail it to you as It is not possible for me to collect the signed ref forms and courier it?

Hi ....

I have applied for the Dec '07 intake for S.P Jain in the I.T. Management field..

My query is regarding the expenses that one will have during the 1 year at Dubai/Singapore.
I am aware that the Fees itself is around 28,000 USD which comes around to be 11 Lacs but could some one give a rough estimate of the amount that one would spend for the year. I heard from someone that the total comes to be around 25 Lacs but it seems to be a Huge amount considering that the living expenses (Food etc.) are not that much (as mentioned somewher on the site) .

Thus, I would appreciate if you could clarify the same and give some approximate figure that we would be expected to shell out (including the Airfare and all)
