i could not find any thread relating to tihs topic.
I want to know various mangment contest organised by industries, financila institutions & academia on a regualr basis ( say annually) apart from ususal B school fests.
be it some case contest , quiz or essay contest.

Ventura - The National Business Plan Contest of NIT Trichy. Held every year in December/January.

Notification will be up in June/July.

hey nice thread man.... Just now 1 essay contest is over of UK..... it was their on tutor... Hey how about updating this threads with latest mgnt contests so that we can take participate and make everyone aware about the same...

Well how about PG having its own management contest.... what say PG guys....

Competition Information
The Royal Economic Society is running a competition to find the Young Economist of the Year 2007.

The essay competition is open to all students studying for A Levels (and Scottish equivalents) offered by UK Exam Boards (in any subject) or the International Baccalaureate. Entries from the UK and Overseas are encouraged. The RES is particularly keen to encourage students to enter the competition who are in the first year of their studies.

The winner of Young Economist of the Year 2007 will win £1,000, with runners-up each receiving £500.

The title to be used for essay entries is as follows:

Using an example of your choice, what light can the ideas and analysis of an economist throw on a major current problem or issue of public concern?

The following introductory guidance is provided for students and teachers:

Essay length: 1,000 - 2,000 words
Deadline: Complete entries should be submitted by 30 April 2007
The winner will be announced in early August 2007
Entries must be word processed – the preferred format is Microsoft Word.
An online submission form will be made available via this page to allow entries to be sent in digital format.
All sources must be properly acknowledged
All entries will be judged by a team of practicing Economics teachers appointed the RES. A shortlist of final entries will be submitted to a two-person Judging Panel of senior Economists who will determine the prize-winners.
All short-listed entrants (and their teachers) will be invited to the prize ceremony at the Royal Institution in Autumn 2007
All schools and colleges who submit entries will be provided with a Certificate of Participation.
