slightly tricky situation here, if ICFAI isnt approved by AICTE. are you sure about this ?
anyway, i think it is mandatory for instis to have AICTE approval ( there are certain requirements, of course ), so you could directly approach the AICTE with your problem, which is two-fold : one, the insti is not approved, two, they arent giving back your money.
another way of tackling the problem : approach MRTPC ( Monopolis and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission ). they had awarded a verdict in favour of a student, and SP Jain had to pay up 1.4 lakhs. only thing is, in this case, you'll have to sue them and fight a case, unlike the AICTE thing, where they'll take care of everything.
