my particulars:
10th 80%
12th 74%

bcom
13th and 14th 50%
15th (grad) 71%

work ex 4 years

gmat 680 / 800 - 89 percentile (awa 5.5/6.0)
spj apt test 87.95 percentile

the other day at the road show in mumbai, i specifically asked the professor about the non university exam marks and he told me that the non university exams (my 13th and 14th) marks would not count towards being shortlisted.

and today when i called up your bombay office, i was told that i was not being shortlisted at the moment because of these very marks. i am literally in a state of shock and awe since i do not understand the contradicting points of view. please help me out, since the only reason for my drop in marks was that i was supporting my father in his business due to personal family health reasons and so could not get the time to study properly.

kindly consider my case as a special case and help me out.

i am going to take the apptitude test on april 14th for the june intake of GMBA, i just wanted to know whats format of the apptitude test, is it similar to the other competitive exams like the CAT or XAT which has quant,verbal ability,DI or is it any diff? also on the 14th april, apart from the apptitude test is there going to be any other form of evaluation?

i guess, i can help u out with it. It is a computer based test. The questions are not of that high level which u expect in CAT, XAT. There are 5 sections.
1) English Comprehension
2) Logical Reasoning
3) Maths
4) General Knowledge
5) Critical reasoning

Every section has different weightage and different negative markings. There is a time duration for each individual sections. U cannot play around with different sections together, as the section goes away once its time is over.

The test is quite easy. If you have the basic preparation for such competitive tests, its very very easy.

hi !!!!!!every body first of all congrts to all .bad luck for me i didint made it through . i had applied for the pmm. i fail to understand what went wrong , because it is a very secret kind of a process which sp jcm follows , what i think is that my interview went very good and and even my interview with the director was also very nice . but alas nobody knows what went wrong , because they r never going to disclose what is the short coming .nyways , i am having a very bad day , also feeling veey down , but gud luk those who got selected .regards asheesh
