total cost comes to arnd 12L...so i wanna know wht is the amnt of loan bank will provide without security/collateral etc.i guess last yr it was 7L bt the admin had said thy r in process of negotiating it to 10L....ISB etc have successfully done that

one more thing-what kinda score would one need in CAT/XAT to be comfy.....as i may nt b able to give the aptitude test on 16th.....
i hope thyll have interviews in oct too as i have exams in sept so cant afford going to mumbai in sept....

people apping to U.S or european uni's do get an avg loan of ard 10 -12 lakhs...no idea bout sp jian dubai..

Hi abhishek,

These guys are not very particular about the CAT scores. They are more interested in the overall package. The CAT scores in my batch vary from 99 percentil to 70 percentile. If u think your overall package is a good one u dont need to worry, else go for SPJAT. SPJAT relatively is a very easy test. The Questions are similar to GMAT's(atleast this was the case when i gave it), should be a walkover for you. About the Loan thing... will let u know after consulting with my batchmates.
