Aneways i was reading ur posts, and got 2 know ur planning on dng some prep before yu go join GLIM, so how r u gonna go bout dng this?
Have u alrdy made some plans for this as well?

Hi guyz,
I hav heard a lot about GLIM
i am a fresher and dat's y was not interested in applying there
but now tht u people say tht they have a fresher's quota i am interested now
my profile is like this
10th - 76.80%
12th - 81%
B.E. Production Engg. from DCE - 64.66% till date
just bout okay extra curriculars
98.01 percentile in CAT
but low in quant
only 72 percentile
DI - 92.67
VA-99.06
so guyz wat do u suggest
if i apply do i stand a decent chance

Hey seniors i am sry to keep pestering u guyz
but the site says tht the program begins on april 19
obviously i cant apply for tht as i am still in college and my final sem ends in july
so please let me know when does the next batch begin
gotta tell u am a touch disappointed though
cos i thought tht i cud apply immediately

am still under the planning phase. basically i am very confused now.
sometimes i feel liking joiing an NGO.
sometimes i plan to lean a foreign language.
also though of doing some NCFM modules.
as of now i plan to do CFA.
this , the last one is kind of finalised and i am trying to arrange for the study matterial.
i have already resigned from my job and 10th Feb is my last working day. so i want to do something useful in the two months time that i have.
what are ur plans?
where r u from?
R u too interested in some fianince related course ?

Good Percentile in CAT...

About the next batch,,,Great Lakes has only one intake per year and that s in April. So as of now if you cant join in April 2006 than April 2007 is the next option.

I really wonder how freshers join the institi if this is the case..May be you can just call the great lakes authorities and ask for a solution.

and even if i do get in wud i not be at a direct disadvantage
as i wud b joining late and on top of tht i am a fresher
by the way cud any of u guyz let me know bout the salary offered to a fresher cos i know tht people with work ex are offered better salaries
but if u cud giv me an idead bout the avg sal for a fresher
the site doesnt hav any info on this
