NCFM exam - 15-02-2005, 12:34 PM

Well, thats true, it has more to do with brokers. Even i'm planning to take up finance but i dont see much relevance of NCFM in our field especailly just of the certifacte as giving the exam n passing it is very easy. Though even i'm going to appear for NCFm exam (for capital market). we can keep in touch pm me if u have any other point to discuss..

It mite be of value if a majority of your batchies have not done these exams. Then it mite distinguish you from them during the placements as you could position it as being indicative of your interest in the finance sector.
I had just taken the NCFM derivatives module, which was pretty informative. However I am currently in my first year and most of these fundae are in the syllabus in second year courses. Don't have too much info about the higher certifications (derivatives is a core/basic module)

I am doing CFP certification (certified financial planner).i am probably the youngest student in India this is a great course for anyone interested in financial planning as a career , also this is the most recognised and most prestigious course in finance all over the world.

U cant compare CFP with any other course. its a different course altogether.
