720 GMAT
4 years IT INDIAN MALE 1 Year in India, 4 MONTHS In UK REST In US (ATLANTA and CHICAGO)
I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE HOW TO GET GPA. MY 8-SEMESTER CGPA as GIVEn BY MY COLg WAS 8.87/10.
Please help me in
1. This Official Transcript Thing
2. How Can I interact with student/alumni of EMORY without Leaving CHICAGo and TAKING Delta Flight to HARTSFIELD-JACKSON ?

First, I must say, I did not understand the capitalization logic there...

Next, to answer your questions:

1.If you are asking about the GPA you need to put in the Emory application, use your CGPA.
2. What is your question / confusion with respect to the official transcripts?
3. This is a great forum to interact with students and if you have further questions, we can certainly get alumni to pitch in.

For Transcripts I have my original marksheets (as they call it in India) travelling with me for last two years. How to make them official?
Fo generic question how does my profile look? I have an non-IIT academic and 'not so very challengin' IT job where I have started as trainee then module lead and now a team lead.

Please help me with these queries it will be much appreciated.

Hi all,

Reading the previous posts on this forum it seems that some people have been notified of their WL being converted to admitted status; Congrats to them
I still havent gotten a decision from Emory and my OPUS status still shows the WL letter.

Also in one of the emails I exchanged with my interviewer she had mentioned that they will try and notify all the international applicants of their status ( admitted or dinged ) by then end of 1st week of June.

Was wondering if any of the people who have been WListed have being dinged?

This wait is giving the most anxious moments I've ever experienced

For most universities, even in India, transcripts are not same as marksheets. A transcript is a paper where your grades of all your subjects are mentioned (on a single page) along with your final grade / percentage / CGPA. Get in touch with your university people or ask friends in your university who did their MS from the US. They must have gone through the same process.

I totally understand the anxious moments your are experiencing. I would advice to maintain a little more patience and let the 1st week of June end.

If you do not hear anything after that, let us know the name of the person who interviewed you and your full name, and we will try to help you get a decision as soon as possible.

Just to introduce myself i am Thejas,I have completd my 4 yrs of BHM, currently Workin wit the UB Group in Trade Marketing and Institution Sales as a Key Account Executive. I am very keen on joinin Emory. I currently have a wrk exp of 1 yr and i am lookin at joining emory after i fininsh 2 yrs W/e.Do u think this w/e would suffice as its not in a managerial grade.? and secondly when would i have to start my application process if i have to join next yr batch
