the factor tat ahv taken in2 consideration iz ... rtrn on invesmen ... n moreova bimb wud save meh a yr n also equals or may b cud b even better in placementz 4 india as m not lukin in 2 settle in abroad so ... imt in india is surely better but dubai ... mah take wud b bimb ....

Uppasana......Our schedule is like 3 hrs of class daily 444 5 dayz.........rest of d time is for projects,assignments,guest lectures n all....... n if ne committie is cuming up wid some quiz or competition den jzzzzz take part in it........remember in MBA dayz u ll learn alot during participation itself....so do join dese actitvities.......
For finance ppl,Yes till nw companies haven't came up with offers in finance field so still guyz r left 2 be placed........but in cuming dayz finance companies will be cuming so hopefully tht will get sorted out soon

Rafa....In INDIA placements although package is low(in practical middle east salaries r 70-80% higher than INDIAN salaries but nw a dayz dese things r changing due to buyoant market conditions in INDIA) profile offered were Consultant in HR,Analytics, business analyst etc........highest among INDIA till now is INR 9.5/annum

Nikhil...........Vibhor n sunil r already placed with good companies in DUBAI........ll surely try 2 give dere numbers 2 uuuuu

Hi friends,


I've got a conditional admission letter from IMT Dubai and i need to confirm soon. Could someone clarify the following:

• Is it mandatory to stay in IMT accommodation? Can't we arrange our own accommodation? I have friends and relatives in Dubai.
• Where is the accommodation located (International City or in campus in Academic City)? Is there any " IN-TIME"? Is food included or we need to arrange separately? Can we cook?
• Is the degree certificate issued by IMT Ghaziabad or is it issued by IMT Dubai independently? Is IMT Dubai registered as an independent University in Dubai or it operates as an extension centre for IMT Ghaziabad?
• Was the HR specialization offered to earlier batches?
• Is TOEFL mandatory? I've given IELTS about a year back. Will that score be accepted?
• Do our passports remain with us or with IMT?

Hi,

First of all I would like to congratulate you on getting through IMT dubai.

Now for your queries:

1. Yeah it is mandatory to live in IMT Residential Campus until and unless your parents live in Dubai.

2.IMT Dubai is moving to its new residential academic campus from this academic year and its in academic city,food is not included in the fee and will be charged extra,we have been told that we will have a mess in the new campus,so i doubt that you can cook,and as far as the IN time is concerned i am not pretty sure about it as this is the first time we will be operating from new campus.

3.IMT Dubai is now a recognized University and it provided its own MBA degree,and no its not an extension of IMT ghaziabad.

4.HR specialization is being started for the first time at IMT Dubai.

5.IELTS is acceptable from what i have heard u need to have a score of minimum six in IELTS but i would request you to please confirm it with student services cell @IMT dubai.

6.Passport thing I am not sure.
