Perhaps my response is a little late -- am returning to this forum almost after a year!

Of those that I know of, the following are "good B-schools" (unsure what your criteria for a 'good' b-school is)

in no particular order -

IMD, Oxford, INSEAD, Judge (not sure)

If the focus is general management/strategy, INSEAD is pretty much the top school. You may want to spend some time researching them schools to figure out what interests you most. Keep in mind that the 2 top ranked 1 year b-schools (INSEAD, IMD) require considerable experience, international exposure, high GMAT scores.

Hope that helps!

hi all,

Does anyone have any idea about the B-Schools in Germany?
I looking out for some information about the same. Also, it would be great if someone shares information about the possibilities of getting work-opportunities in Germany after finishing the course.

I am slightly biased towards Germany as a nation, and hence looking out for information on the same.

Would be great if someone can help me out in this regard.

Thanks & Regards

One more question similar to the one asked by jxcess2.
Does CFA level-1(US) would be considered in calculation of 16 years of education.

CAT 2007-97.67%tile
Workexp-NIL
Calls-MDI PGPM & IMT-G
Converts- IMT-G (Finance)
Result awaited-MDI

Hi Anu,

CFA at any level is not considered an additional year of education. it is simply a certified course...

Hope this helps

Question Re: Phoren B-school Assistance Desk - 20-05-2008, 07:28 PM

Hi All,

This is the query from my side. I am a Indian/ Male/ IT professional with 3 yrs of work experience. I will be having 4 yrs of work exp by the time I hopefully join the MBA next year. I have lived and worked in China for around a year and I know basics of the language. I wish to pursue MBA as the means of career change. I would like to enter the field of Marketing/ Strategy in MBA and also would like to join MBA in either US or UK as it has the most opportunities around.

Hence could you guys please help me identify the Bschools in Dream, reach, safe categories which are known for Marketing/ Strategy in US or UK? Your suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers,
Vino
