My 2 paise on this issue!!

I am sure that the instis could do a better job by publishing the criteria of shortlisting as well as the cut-offs as of last year (similar to as it is done for CAT now). But I guess the info is available in forums like these.

But to look at it from another perspective, even the CAT candidates are pretty much shortlisted on the basis of the CAT scores, and for IIM-A, once you are in the interview pool , it really does not matter to them if you are there on teh basis of CAT or GMAT. The only time they remember is when you need to pay the fees!!
