Hey guys,

Just called up the BIM office..maybe giving ull repeated stuff..!!

A nice sounding lady frm admissions answered....said that BIM is waiting for the mighty IIM's to declare their results 1st and then only the admission letters shall be dispatched..!!!

When I asked any other reason for delay, as in shifting of campus or fee hike, she categorically said no...just the IIM results..!!

Her explanation was " Many students who have got calls from BIM have also been called for IIM's, so we do not want seats cancellations"

I highly doubt that, and how would they know whether their students have been called by IIM's or not..!!
Wanted to tell them that we are cancelling admissions in all other colleges waiting for BIM letter...!!!

Anyways, IIM results cud well take a month or more....so some more waiting to be done..!!

That was a pretty good hypothesis regarding the Admission letters.But for your info and all others who are waiting for the results , BIM always lets out its results only after the IIMs declare theirs... This has been happening for many years and i don't think it could possibly change this year... Regarding the speculations about the waiting list movement ,its always EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED ... So just sit back , relax and keep your fingers crossed hoping for the best...

Hi Janani

Really appreciate you taking out some time from ur summers and posting in the thread..!!

I guess its bothering us a bit , as we are giving up our seats in similar colleges and actually have no admission letter in hand now ( after having 4 at one time..!!!)

Guess BIM could have co-ordinated better with other colleges...!!

Anyways, as you say, we shall wait patiently..!!

IIM results on May 1st
OBC List by May 15th

IIM-A board takes a decision, fee hike to stay

Hope BIM authorities now dont wait till the IIM's declare the OBC list..
