Dear Mr.Jones

Appreciate your time and efforts to reach out to the prospective students and making yourself available to answer their queries.

I appreciate this culture at HULT and I have noticed this from every one of them – they are always available to welcome and accommodate queries. Every one I have spoken to had always been very patient and more than friendly to guide me with my queries.

Quite recently and after further exploring on the US visa regulations, I have the following queries:

1) Controlled limitation on the US Visa - 20,000 cap for US master degree holders.
With this regulation in place, how can HULT, a school with 95% international profile can ensure quality students when most of the international students are staying away from US or looking for top-notch schools?

2) Also with above regulation in place by which it would mean more international more hassles with H1 Visa. How does HULT plan to assure the students and ensure a quality Career management service - which could be helping students with their immediate professional goal?

3) Does passing out in August (after a securing an admission in September) will provide a better chance in terms of OPT and H1 Visa application?
In other words, if my prospective employer would apply my H1 in April and when my OPT expires in August I will not have anything to do till October.

I am not sure if you can answer this but please try your best to do so. As this has been seen as one of the key bottlenecks by many HULT aspirants.

The above information is useful to better prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead…

Again, Thank you so much for your time.

In this mode of accepting the admission offer after pledging 2500/ USD when i donot have any info about the scholarship to be offered ,as a prospective student, what am i supposed to understand from your reply .Please advice the clear stance about the same as my earlier question remains unanswered :-

4.Why are the scholarship/aid decisions being made after the acceptance fee submission Why aren't they offered along with the admissin offer as an accepted norm followed in most of the renowned BSchools.

Your help in answering these questions is of immense help for prospective HULT students like me to know & understand about HULT admision policies .
Cheers,
Madguy
If there was a delay in sending in your FORM E for scholarship within the deadline, then your complete financial aid package which will include Erika loan will be given out upon submission of Form A and confirmation. I would suggest you talk to your specific recruiter for further assistance in this regard.

Dear Deepthi,

Thank you for your interest. I’ll start off by telling you that your GMAT is above our average, however, your work experience is below our average. Our Ad Committee takes a holistic approach when reviewing applications- it's a combination of everything: recommendations, work exp (leadership roles), CV, GMAT, Essays, personal interview… are all important.

As for wanting to know more about Hult, I highly recommend that you do your own research on Hult by going to our website (www.hult.edu ). Only you know which B-school is right for you. The same goes for your job prospects in Dubai, if you are interested in a one year MBA then you need to have a clear focus/target- and be prepared for a very intensive year. After doing your research, I suggest you send your CV to admissions@hult.edu for review.

Kind regards,
Tate

Hello,
Please see answers below:
1)Answer - Not every student seeking a US MBA education is interested in staying in the US. Quality students recognize the value of a diverse international student population. Many of the best quality students want to minimize their time out of the workforce thus choose a one year program and there are only a select few in the US.
2) Answer - Probably, we won't know the extent until this we see how this year's Master's visa situation plays out. The first question doesn't affect career management at Hult. We are not solely focused on helping students gain employment in the US, as that is not every student's immediate professional goal. We build corporate relationships globally and help students individually to reach their goals.
3) Answer - Graduating in August is much better than graduating in May like most MBA programs. You have either no gap in work permission or a very small one, depending on what you select as your OPT start date.
Thank you,
Tate Jones

Hi,

I recently got my admission confirmed for HULT Dubai campus.

I would like to know about students who are placed after their MBA from HULT as the data posted in your website seems to be old, where the average salary displayed is 81k USD.

I would like to know how can HULT help me in securing a decent job after my MBA, agree that one should also be equally repsonsible in securing a job but would like to know what kind of platform can HULT provide to secure a good job.?

I am really thinking how would students from HULT be compared/judged against students from other top rated universities.

Sunny

Dear Sunny,
The average starting salary from the last intake is 92,000 USD.
Hult’s corporate development team has already begun developing relationships with organizations, identifying recruitment opportunities and gathering industry updates for the region. Our Dubai based Corporate Development staff are meeting with recruiters and hiring managers (multinationals & local firms) across the region to ensure that Hult graduates have access to employment opportunities in the region in 2009. All relevant career fairs in DKV and DIAC, will be attended by Hult Career Development staff to develop and deepen contacts, and recruiters at the fair would be able to consider suitable students for roles by referring to the CV book or the online database of student resumes. Understanding that recruitment opportunities happen throughout the year, both Career Services and Corporate Development will endeavor to keep students informed, updated, and in contact with hiring firms. We will do this by offering access to Virtual Career Fairs (see: MBA-Exchange bi-annual Global MBA Virtual Career Fair), posting job opportunities and contacts via our careers website, and working with faculty and administration to allow you time off to attend important recruitment events (case-by-case). Students from both campuses are assisted by the Career Service Centers on each campus on career management; any recruitment opportunities that are surfaced by the team from the various centers would be open for application by all suitable students. Corporate Development organizes a number of corporate events (Executive Speaker Series, corporate presentations, etc) that will offer students access to jobs in the local and national arena.
I hope this helps,

Tate

Hi Tate,

Thanks for your response, HULT must havee done lot of ground work before setting up the campus in Dubai, what kind of opportunities does open for MBA graduates in the Dubai region? and Is there a gap between demand and supply in the Dubai for MBA graduates, as I think there are no good MBA colleges in that region ? As this is the first year of operation for HULT in Dubai, the branding is important for HULT as well, what measures is HULT taking to promote the awareness of the school among the corporates in Dubai other than representing in job markets?

Can you please provide some details on the above?

Regards,
Sunny
