Oh My God!... I missed posting transcripts to INSEAD... Does that push me into round 2?

markandey: I'm afraid it will. INSEAD will not review your application till it is complete in all respects.

TTB: I guess INSEAD doesn't expect applicants to write much in these fields. My opinion is that you would do well not to write a lot in these fields unless absolutely necessary.

If you've just missed the deadline, they might still be lax with the date and accept missing components. Contact them and see if you can still be considered for R1 if you can send your transcripts pronto. They would possibly review complete apps first and then come to your app later.

A kind soul here has actually created a thread where several int'l b-school event dates and registration links have been provided. That's how I found out about the INSEAD event.

Hey Markandey,

Don't panic, since you're in Dallas, even if you fedex the documents today they should get to France latest by the 6th. And you can call/write INSEAD to let them know your documents are on the way. I'm sure they'll be more than willing to accomodate you.

TTB - My advice - go with brevity. These fields were never meant for writing stories, the shorter and sweeter you keep it, the better!

Fedex the transcript and inform about the same to Admissions' Committee.
I think they may consider your case (though they sound very strict on App Instructions page)

TTB:

KISS (keep it short and sweet) the Activities/Interest section, though a few characters more may not harm you.
In one of the actitivies, I too had to resort to '+' sign.

my application is complete - 2nd recommendor just confirmed that he's submitted the reco.

So now awaiting confirmation from INSEAD and hoping for the best result.

I was reading through FAQs:
APPLICATION PROCESS

How strict are the application deadlines?
The application deadline is the date by which we need your complete application. If we do not receive it, we will process all other applications first. We may still be able to consider your application beyond this date but cannot guarantee it.

So, I guess if your transcript reaches them soon, you will be considered within the first deadline!

Thanks a lot guys... I really appreciate all your suggestions and help...
I have sent my transcripts thru Fedex this morning... they said it might takes 1-3 days. but there are high chances that it will reach by tomorrow, unless custom guys decided to check the same box that contains my letter.
