I am told by the admission office that an e-mail has also been sent to the candidates selected for the GD/PI ... so if u have not done any spell mistake while entering ur email ids in the application form ... or if the person who has sent the email has not done the spell mistakes then you must have got an email also.

But .. dont worry .. if ur name is there on the list published on the website .. then just take a DD of 25000 drawn in fev of NATIONAL INSURANCE ACADEMY and jump in with all the original documents.

GD topics were very general ... privatization, globalisation, curruption, corporate ethics etc. ... so almost all of us had something to say on it.

But ... u can't forecast about this year's topics based on the past record !!!

Does NIA announces the result on the same day,,

whether the list is acording to cat percentile
in decending order?actually u have written on the first page of this blog that probabilty of selection is high for initial 2 days b'coz of weightage given to cat score. and in 4-5 page it`s there that once u r shortlisted ur performance on gd/pi only matter. i m little confuse.

Till last year the list used to be according to the decending order of CAT %ile combined with work ex and they used to publish those details also along with addresses of candidates. So last year I was even able to contact a couple of candidates before going for GD/PI.
But this year they haven't published any such details. So now it's just a guess work about the logic behind the given order.

Every AICTE approved bschool is required to give the information in the following mendatory disclosure to AICTE. SO here is our information given to AICTE : http://www.niasom.edu.in/pdfs/Mandat...ICTE_Norms.pdf

So my point that final selection is based on the GDPI performance only is based on this information given to AICTE and which is true also.

But it's just the human factor which gives candidates with high percentile a soft corner and panel will view him/her with more respect and that helps a bit. That's why I said that if u r called earlier than u have slightly higher chances of getting through especially when the results are declared on the same day after 2-3 hrs break. But that's just limited to that soft corner for high percentile only ... so no need to worry if u r called late ... We have even people who were waitlisted on the last day.

And our experience was that .. it's still an undervalued bschool ... so getting through was not a very difficult task.

i ve my gd/pi scheduled on 25 @ 2pm!

i live in delhi n will come first to mumbai n thn take a train frm thr to pune! i reach thr arnd 11 on 25 feb!
i ve planned to get dressed for gd/pi after reachin pune! i just wanted to knw if i ll have access to sufficient facility to do dat on nia camus? otherwise wat shud i do! as i ll be a mess after 3 hr journey!

HELP!!

also i am comin back to mumbai by a 6 o'clock train on the same day( got my flight scheduled on the same day back to delhi)ne idea by wat tym i be free frm the process?
wil i knw my result on same day!

Entire Gals' hostel is here ... so don't worry about changing.

But ... i fear u wont be able to finish ur process by that time. So do one thing ... ask any student co-ordinator to schedule ur pi immediately after the gd is over.

And then c if they can declare the result. But i am 99.99 % sure that they will declare results only after interviewing all the candidates. Plus add some time for their internal discussion also. So u better leave after the interview .. and if u r selected then any student co-ordinator will call u and then u can courier ur DD after that.

They are always flexible for some exceptional cases. I will inform them about ur case in advance so dont worry.

By what time will the GD/PI batch of 2 pm get over roughly?

Also, can u suggest any buses that we can board to mumbai after GD/PI?

It may take long time really.
Because they need to discuss amoung themselves once all interviews r done. They they need to prepare ur final selection letters and reciepts of 25k.
Take 7 pm to be on the safer side.
Then u can take NIA's bus which will drop u at LIC office. Then shivajinagar bus depot & railway station both r at a walking distance.
