Hi,

We do not have a fixed no of seats for any spec. We are more concerend with finding the right kind of candidates for our prog.
The waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions Commitee and students found suitbale are offered admission.

However there is no fixed timeframe as to when this happens and you would have to be a little patient. The max that you would have to wait would probably be until a little after we claose for admissions

Dear Shankha,

Your CAT score is fine as it meets our cut off of 80+. In my opinion you need not take the SPJAT.

Hi Mukesh,

Firstly, pls do not get disheartened that you were not selected. It doesnt mean that you are not good - it just means that you do not meet our unique criteria.

Well during the evalutions a lot of factors are considered apart from academics , CAT score , extra curriculars etc.

We look at your personality on the whole, domain knowledge, communication skills, smartness etc.
ANd then a final decision is taken based on your profile as a whole.

It is not our policy to hand out specific reasons for non selection.

Have attended the director round. I have done well in my PI and i would say average in the director round. One thing i am not able to understand what are the criteria that adcom looks for as far it concern to me I have done reasonably well and i am not able to understand not even the single criteria why i have been not selected. The only one that i can think of is being in IT and applied for IB.
I am not questioning the adcom process but for my own sake of justification for the regret status i wanted to know where i was lacking so that probably in the future i can overcome that.
Please help me if you can throw some light on that, I will be very great full to you.

Hi,

The results wil be declared within 10-12 days from the test date. No, the evaluation does not take place on the same day

Hi,

I do not have the number on me.

However I request you to pls be a little patient as the waitlist is reviewed from time to time by the Admissions Commitee as and when need be and students found suitable are offerd admission.

However I cannot tell you when exactly this would happen - latest would probably be a little after we close for admissions

1. I would like to know which IT companies come for students with an SMM specialization, looking for Business Development profiles?
2. What is the average salary offered for 1. above?
3. Are these placements concentrated more in India, Singapore or the UAE?
4. I have 4 years of work experiencein IT (Telecom Software Development) and plan to persue an MBA in SMM. What kind of profiles can I look forward to, post an MBA at SPJCM?

I have not been able to get this info from the website and hence the query.

3. The placements could be in any of the 3 regions
4. The profile would depend on your past work ex, domain knowledge, application of skills acquired from the GMBA prog etc.
