Can the ppl studying in XL throw some light. ppl with 98 + percentiles are not getting selected and we have these stray cases who get selected. By any chance did they evaluate the essays also for giving these calls???
waiting in anticipation for some xplanation
i thnk the quant cutoff has been 95 for bm
and gk has been pretty low (as xpected)

nothing other than that explains lot of good scores not getting a call

The only plausible xplanation for this is either the URL is fake(as there is no link on XL website) or they gave considerable weightage to essays too.

they won't ask you nething about mar fin etc. do the normal preparation with the standard questions..why MBA why engineering then MBA and stuff like that. be thorough wth wotver you have decded to say in the interview..wot else.. yeah in some places..(depending on the interviewer) they have some stress kinda interviews in some places. last year the bombay interviews were damn cool compared to the other places.. but then again it changes every year.. the panel i mean. just be thorough and i think u should sail thru

Hey, Big Congrats to all those who've secured a call !
First and foremost chill ! I had also heard that the XL interviews were stress intreviews and u get psyched out and all that. Trust me...there are no such generalisations.....there are going to be many panels all over India, and not all of them follow any collective policy when it comes to taking interviews. Its your luck , if you get a professor who likes taking such interviews(we have a few here who do ) just maintain your cool. Just make sure u sound logical and ur answers seem clear and well thought out .
As of now party for a few days ....and plz message any of us XL'ers or post in case of any doubts !!!
