Am really irritated ppl...
. Overall %ile of 97.72, almost 99 in GA, 96 odd in verbal and 84 odd in QA.... of course I understand the need for cutoffs and stuff, but .....:razz:uppydog: Outta the running for XLRI and XIMB.
But hey, I'm not trying to run down ppl who've got calls from XLRI... congrats to all you guys, you deserve it truly:smile: ... good luck for the next round!!
Here's hoping I'm in a better mood next time....
And btw, I got a call for BM at an overall percentile of 99.2 with 98.35 in QA, 97.35 in VA and 87.1in GA. 
Also, I wonder why they have not mentioned an interview in the result? What do they mean by admission offer? Now, you dont call being shortlisted being given an admission offer, do you? But i am sure there has to be an interview . And whats the waiting list for? :huh: :huh: :huh:

I CAN SURELY BET THT THEY DEFINITELY GAVE THE CALLS TO THE PGites AFTER READING 1400+ POST OF THE MEMBERS.....HOWZZZZZZAT!!

Have read somewhr on pg itself that a person with really gr8 scores in xat wasnt shortlisted but after a call for clarification to xl, did get a call. Now I`m sure I have read this somewhere. Personally I would`ve felt wronged by this score not deserving a call unless I call them personally.
I dont know if it helps at all.. but I feel you should try it.. after all just a call,u never know

i think it can be safely assumed that they are definitely looking for a QA cutoff of 95 even for PMIR which is really really surprising
XL PMIR has always been mainly a VA thing... a friend of mine gave XAT last yr and got thru with a QA of 80
anyway in a year of surprises....... 😃

e.g. ppl wid 90+ in all three and 98+ , and having MORE than 2 years of work ex wid graduation NOT frm a top college- r nt called for intrview!!!!!

The only explanation for their anamolous selection process....They have written all our numbers on papers, put them in some box..and taken lots.
I know im writing out of the deep anguish for not making it with a 98.51 percentile....but what do these guys expect out of us?

Then why the hell the exam and what does it measure if not our potential....if their tests consistently cant measure our actual potential as they regretingly admit....then theyd better consider CAT scores instead of wasting our time and money over another exam.....anguish...!

My recommendation to all the high scorers who didn't make it.
The first time I loaded the site of the XXLRI calls, it said I haven't got a call.
Within 5 minutes I checked again and it said Congrats.
So knowing the kind of crap thats been done by XLRI, I would serisouly recommend you guys double-check your call status.
I am not trying to raise any unnecessary hope of anybody.
But I want to tell you my case. 5 minutes is all it took to chnage my status from Sorry to Congratulations!!!
