Well guys this whole issue of cutoffs seems to be baseless to me ..
I got a call at 96.93 overall with the following break up
QA--98.5
VA--90
GK--68.77 :huh: :huh:

Wasn't expecting a call after ( what I thought was) an abysmal performance in XAT... but I ended up with 90+ percentiles in all sections and a 99.11 overall percentile.

still....no call.

am strangely disappointed. :huh:

does anyone have any idea how the selections were made?! can't possibly be based on cutoffs can it??

Anyhoo...best of luck to all those who did get a call!!:)

not too sure about the xact cutoffs, but a couple of observations ...

1. havnt seen nebody with 2. havnt seen nebody with 3. ga cuttoff has been very low and tht was a very sensible thng to do as the diff b/w a 90%ler and a 70%ler in ga is hardly a couple of marks

Here's the score of a friend of mine who didn't get thru:

GK: 99.xx
Verbal: 99.xx
QA: 90.xx

Overall: 99.87

I guess, overall that is one of the highest scores that has got a reject, keeping in mind that he has 90+ in all 3 sections.

My friend got a PMIR call with 75.XX percentile in VA :whatthat: :whatthat:

He got 96.3X percentile overall

Have read somewhr on pg itself that a person with really gr8 scores in xat wasnt shortlisted but after a call for clarification to xl, did get a call. Now I`m sure I have read this somewhere. Personally I would`ve felt wronged by this score not deserving a call unless I call them personally.
I dont know if it helps at all.. but I feel you should try it.. after all just a call,u never know
