First things first, ATB for all your upcoming GD/PI's.
There are no reservations as such for IRMA and XAT applicants as such.
And there is no weightage (as far as I know) given to extra curriculars but yes these can prove that you have a well rounded personality and improve your chances.

had gone thru mandatory disclosure but cudnt understand how written test
quotient(score or weightage wotever u call it) were arrived at.......had
read somewhere in d thread that xat %les are halved to arrive at that
then whats the procedure for irma??
thank you again.......btw one more q......had applied to pgdm also but
am missing it by a %le so will there not be any question on conflict of
interest???

You should get a call for GD/PI.. Though is low, but it should be enough..

For the written test scores, I think the mandatory disclosure clearly says that the GD/PI and written test scores will be given equal (i.e.50-50) weightage. I don't personally think that any custom such as halving the XAT scores is followed, both exams have their own merit and students are judged on their performance in the respective exam that they have applied through. That is one of the reasons why there are different cut-offs in both these exams for the RM programme.
Most probably you'll be asked that question(of conflict of interest), just be true and justify yourself well. I am sure if you think about it a little, you can come up with a smart answer.

Gents, a coupla questions.
First off, someone said they had spoken to the admissions office and were told there was a good chance of the overall being as high as 97.5. Now, and I won't hold you to this answer, what kind of rise do you see the in the sectionals?
Secondly, I'm guessing the delay this year is because the coll has been trying to increase the number of seats, so obviously no complaints about that, but its now nearly end january. Could we get a more specific results date if possible?
ps-sorry if there were any ladies responding on this thread, spot of chauvanism there 😃

I don't think that there has been any official news on increase in seats. Alumini have totally denied it. Although I hope there is.
I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that there was a proposal to increase the seats to 180. If that's not true, then what's the hold up??! It was out in 2 days last year
