XIMB : Solution Centre '09

My sectionals are:
DI - 98.2
VA - 75.4
QA - 71.2

One more query that I had was...Lets assume that I just about manage to get a gd/pi call..but since it would be a borderline case...would it be really difficult to convert it?

I'm Shradha. I'm in my final year of graduation.

My xat 2009 scores are as follows:-

VA : 75.98
QA : 39.21
LR : 97.41

overall : 85.86

I have domicile quota. I know i wont get a call for the PGDM course, but I am also interested for the PGDM(RM) course, can I get a call with my percentile? Do they take sectional cut offs?

Seniors please advice... :sad:

I hope they dont take sectional scores..

and..Can anyone suggest where else I can apply?

My xat 2009 scores are as follows:-

VA : 75.98
QA : 39.21
LR : 97.41

overall : 85.86

According to the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE...
for Orissa domicile the cutoff for PGDM was 90 Percentile...
for PGDM(RM)----you will clear the overall cutoff but there were sectional cutoffs also..may be your QA sectional might prove a hindrance..
i will just find the Exact PGDM--(RM) cutoffs from the doc and tell you by
night..

QA cutoff was--45.43
But last to last year it was---34.21....
so just keep ur fingers crossed...u have 39.xx so wait for results and pray to god..that's all i can say..

You should get a GP/PI call as per last year's cutoffs. ATB!!!

Hey... we didnt relpy to your query coz most of us here answering the queries are form the PGDM course, and thought someone from RM would be better suited to take up your query. May be they were busy with something and hence could not answer you.

I think you have your query answered by someone now.. As far as places to apply with your XAT score, my knowledge about this as good as yours. So cant help you on that ...

will they overlook the fact that I've got a decent 97%ile in the LR section and a 75%ile in english...? O_O ...

I am Anubhav from the PGDM (RM) course, and trust me you have a strong chance of getting a call. Just be relaxed and wait for a few more days, the results will be out soon !!

Hey, With OA expected to rise nearly to 97, It would be very difficult to get a call with this score!

Not really! But here is a catch, if they rise OA considerably then, there might be chance for some loose ends on the sectionals!

12th - 87%
Graduation - Economics Honors 4m Delhi University - 62%
1year Work ex - Market Research Analyst, Gurgaon

IRMA- 92%le (38% score)
XAT - 88.76%le

Have applied for XIMB-RM thru IRMA...was in a haste...please tell me if it was a good decision...
Shall i change it to or can i change it to XAT?

Please also help me with the call dates if u hv ne idea... in a complete mess..god knows wots in store??

actually,a cousin of mine,said he asked some one from the faculty there and they said that, even if someone gets an 83%ile they get a call, provided they do well in the quants section, so i am like...totally bummed out.

cud they,conversely, increase sectionals and keep oa a bit lower?;-)
