I took a shot at explaining whatever sub-disciplines are there in HR as a stream. This is not an exhaustive list, mind you. There might be more things. But this article should give you a fair idea about HR if you have none.

I have converted TISS HRM and XL HRM,
Which is a better option from long term perspective. I do not have any issue working in HR. But I want to work in a well established MNC of repute. I am financially sound, so fees is not a big constraint. Yet one cant ignore the fact that XL fees is 10 times that of TISS. Not to mention location factor and greaer amount of field work involved in TISS (Apparently you do 6 internships and one dissertation in 2 years)
