How much time is given for writing WAT?
What exactly do the panelists have in the interview room ? Extracurricular certificates and ? Did the panelists have the graduation marksheets with them during the interview ?
Can anyone pls share their interview experience ?
Hello All,
I had my BM interview on 23rd in Bangalore.
It started off with WAT for 15 mins, Topic:
"Getting all the eggs from the goose at once may not always be a bad idea".
This was followed by a ~15 min GD on the same topic.
After this, I had the interview which lasted about 30 mins which was a little over the average considering that almost everyone in my panel was interviewed for about 20 mins.
WAT and GD are there for both HRM and BM, the only difference in the process is that there were separate GD/WAT groups for HRM and BM and separate interview panels for BM and HRM.
Documents were not verified as such at a previous stage but during my interview, one panelist asked to go through my file and he did check some documents ( It had everything in it so I don't know what specifically he was looking at).
They did not go through my CV or ask anyone whether they had one. Lots of candidates did not bring their CVs and they were not asked about it.
The interview was very abstract in general and I think that they were trying to put me in a spot by throwing some ethical dilemmas at me,
Thankfully, I was able to hold my ground (At least I'd like to think so :p)
Me being from pharma, was asked about drug pricing, how it should be , whether innovator companies must have patent protection , and whether we humans as a species are right in not caring about the adverse affects of our actions.. it just got very abstract from here and I find it hard to recall as it was more like a discussion than a Q&A session to be honest. I didn't get any technical Qs on undergrad thankfully but if you are a fresher, please go prepared for that. I was not even asked Why MBA, Why XLRI, and the other standard questions.
That's my 2 cents.

I had requested for change of date for my GDPI. But I later saw on the interview call letter that change of date will not be permitted. I guess that is why I did not get any reply. So my GDPI date is the same or I have to confirm again with someone. Please help. Thanks
Is WAT included this year?? If yes, what kind of topics should we prepare?
What is the PI/GD weightage in final selection?
To those who are done with the interview process! Is there a separate verification process for certificates/documents? Will it be a problem if I take attested photocopies instead of original marklist?

Do they start the wat , gd at the reporting time? Or with some delay?

When will XLRI declare the final results after interview for both BM & HRM courses ? When did they declare it last year ?
