Tier 1 B-schools in US demand at list 3-5 years of work ex. even if u have a fabulous GMAT score but a "not so good" profile...u may not be considered for admissions !!!
though there are a host of other colleges that wud consider close to 2 years of work ex....try researching abt them if u r desperate to get an admission this year itself.
make an informed decision....all the best
Most schools look at profile + Work Ex + GMAT score + Interviews + recommendations. I know of one person who joined a US top 5 b-schools with zero work ex. However, she had an amazing profile. School, college topper. National level sports etc.
So there is no simple answer to your question. You can research on a few of the top b-school averages at Business School Rankings and Profiles: EMBA, Executive Education, MBA, Part-time MBA, Distance MBA However, remember that these are averages. So there will be people above and below this number.

I dont think its an issue. But usually the people who take up MBA in US have 3-5 years of experience. The average years of exp in that case is 4 yrs. Yours is a bit towards the lower side. However if you a good profile, extra currics and good acads/GMAT score to make your selection worthy I don't think there will be any hindrances.
PS : As far as I know there are some B Schools in US which prefer low workex.
There are schools that accept students with 2 yrs or less experience. There are programs like MiM which are tailored for people with low work ex. However, if you are bent on an MBA look out for the current class profile age range and you might want to fit in the mid 80% because it helps to be in that range for your post MBA placements etc.
My 2 cents.
