Hi,
I have applied for Wisconsin Madison and waiting for the decision :x. did any body receive admit from the school.As far as i know, round 1 is over and admission commitee is in round 2 and we can expect an decision by march 07.

m applying to the OTM prog...and my interview is scheduled on Feb27th
For the OTM program the interview is mandatory.Different centers will have different
policy regarding the interview.

That's great dude.All the Best for ur interview. i applied for Brand and Product Management Specialisation. how do u rate this school. i am sure that u must get thru vit ur very good score. where do u work ??

The OTM-MBA program is one of the best because: -

1) No one gets a MBA level placement. People here after completing their MBA work as programmers
2) The center is least bothered about the placements of the students. According to it an international student must establish relations and find a job him/her self
3) The curriculum is outdated and people are extremely proud of it
4) The IS program has been completely destroyed under the pretext of merger with OTM
5) There is absolutely no fruitful industry contact with the center
6) This center is dragging down the ranking of the business school
7) Its easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than finding an intern if you are an OTM student
Financial aid for the first year is used as a trap to lure quality students, aid is discontinued after one year ha ha....
9) The motto of the program seems to be - bring in high quality students and render them completely useless after 2 years
10) They teach MS in the name of MBA, MS level courses like reorganizing factory are compulsory.
11) MBA career office is unable to help students due to lack of harmony between OTM center and placement cell.
12) In the name of actual interviews you will get mock interviews and you will be expected to make a mark in those
13) Most of the companies on the board of OTM are extremely unfriendly towards international students and don't contribute in student development and placement.
14) Take the call cautiously, it might be bomb waiting to explode after an year

If anybody has any doubts he/she can check stats from MBA program office, especially check the job titles, pay of internationals students for internships and fulltime positions, companies on the board and their recruitment practices, curriculum (compare it with other schools)

Thank you for your information.may i know your profile and what r u upto ??Is this only pertaining to OTM Specialisation, or it 's common for all the specilisations. i heard that it's 7 in Marketing schools in US by finanicial times.How abt Marketing specialisation especially Brand and Product Management.

Lets wait n watch !! I work for an indian IT company.
I think its a good school.I like the specialization funda here and the internships and final placements look good to me.

I think we need to wait til 7 of march. yesterday i called the professor and she asked me to wait til end of this week.i did nt have any interviews. One of my frnd who applied for MBA in Information Science got rejection two weeks back,Generally Univs tend to send rejection mails first and followed by waitinglist or admits however this might not be true always. any ways let's hope for the best and lve rest to god.

BTW,what else u have in ur hands apart from Wisconsin.

Whr else have u applied?...any calls till now?

Since my gmat is bit on lower side , i have applied for only two universities, W.P Carey and Wisconsin. Arizona got rejected. i am waiting for Wisconsin only. let's hope for the best.
