I am new to this forum and am quite unsure on the right place to post my questions. I hope you will all guide me.
I have a Bachelor's in Biochem from a US university and was to pursue a career in medicine in the US which did not happen due to some unfortunate events in my personal life. I then moved to Dubai on getting married and have been working at various sales jobs here. Most recently I worked in corporate sales role for a major telecom company. Prior to that, I worked in sales for a building material company and in automotive sales. I have not stuck to any one industry throughout.
I am a very good student and have always got good grades. But I was always lost about what career to pursue after my initial attempts failed. Now I want to pursue an MBA in finance at SP Jain here in Dubai and launch a new career in finance. My question to those of you who have done Finance MBAs, esp. if you have done so from Dubai, what are my chances of getting a good job in finance post MBA in dubai. Since I have not stuck to one industry, will such a thing be very difficult to do. Do you know of others who have made similar switches?
Also, would you advice any other specializations or masters programs for someone like me.
What higher certificates would I need to clear if I did an MBA in Finance...such as CFA etc.
