I am just starting to prepare for my MBA, I have 73.8 % in 10th CBSE and 70% in 12th. I have a CGPA of 7.44/10 in my Engg. I have about about 2.5 years of work experience in project management in a middle eastern company. How good are my chances of being admitted in to a good MBA college ?

Seeing my marks, they definitely look mediocre and not spectacular. I have been talking to a friend who says it's impossible for me to get in to a good college and i should continue working rather than go for an MBA.

What do you guys think ? Is it too much to imagine i can get a shot at a GOOD MBA college with a decent( I definitely dont think i can get 99%) CAT score or is it too far fetched ??
