From: [email protected] To: Date: Sat, 20 Oct 2012 21:23:33 +0200 Hi everyone As you are aware, well beyond our class we are more & more to wonder how our School is managed. Regrettably Vlerick is doing badly (Economist & FT rankings tumble down). Particularly in MBA section, dysfunctions of management accumulate, cover-up & repressive policy to shut students becomes the norm... As a result, we get poor recognition of the degree (far too local), gloomy prospects... Many feel misled, betrayed, disappointed... Yet, in the so-called best interests of the School we keep hearing that we must remain silent... But is it really in the School so our benefit? Or rather to cover management inefficiencies? Many of us fear to speak up, many fear to write..., many fear retaliation! Why? Are we supposed to be future submissive entrepreneurs or outright manipulated managers? What's going on? What's wrong? Who's responsible? What can be done...? Let's be clear-sighted & share anonymously or not (depending on individual confidence) our analysis about Vlerick management who appears totally unable to measure what is currently happening... ... & let's improve before Vlerick leaves the top 100 & take better care of our future! Cheer up! ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Losheick Mat Date: 2012/10/20 Subject: When Vlerick profs stifle their students To: Hi all Unfortunately for quite a while now I have obtained from some fellow alumni confirmation of the sometimes blatant incompetence of our leadership. I pass it on to you anonymously given the way some of our professors operate. You might soon understand why? Hope not! True shame on our school anyway! A tip: if you are ever involved in some kind of argument with a professor or staff member, discreetly take a picture of your exam before handing your copy (as far as I know non-digital cameras are not prohibited in exam regulations). Otherwise an ordeal to prove anything...
