I assume you're planning to give CAT this year...I mean CAT 2012 (during Oct-Nov 2012).....And I assume you're asking for Ideal (not Idle) time to join coaching class....
I would suggest you to join the classes now itself...for the first attempt it's always better to start early....so that by the time the AIMCATs/Mock CATs starts (usually by June), you would be in a good position to attempt those Mocks with sufficient confidence.....don't wait till July.....ACT NOW...

U must have meant 'ideal' time!?! Start as early as possible..ATB with your preparations..
