Hello,

I am completing my B.Sc in Mathematics this year.Now, I am going to join M.Sc in Mathematics in July . Next year I am thinking to sit for CAT 2014. But, the problem is, when I will be in my 1st year of M.Sc. and sitting for Cat 2014 means i will getting admission in some management school in 2015. So , My 1 year will be wasted.

And I am not at all interested in Masters in Science anymore. Ultimately I have to do MBA.

So, Is it a good decision to take CAT in between by masters. Actually I don't want to do MSc and this year I am not left with anymore options.

What is the best option ??

Does these thing will become hurdle in future or in IIM interviews?

PS: Due to health issues I have already a gap after my Class xii.

I have a average profile till now. Class X XII 85% Graduation 8.2CGPA
